About the position

As an Account Manager at Bacardi, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team of activation managers dedicated to achieving the organization's strategic and commercial goals. Your primary focus will be on managing key multicultural on-premise accounts and customers in the San Antonio area. This role requires you to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, develop customer strategies, and create compelling promotional programming that aligns with Bacardi's brand values. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality organization and execution of initiatives within your designated market, leveraging the tools and support provided by Bacardi to drive success. In this position, you will manage and strengthen relationships with a designated list of on-premise accounts through a consultative and influential approach. You will track all activities and submit regular reports to your supervisor, detailing your progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), account visits, training sessions, and competitive activities. Your role will also involve participating in overall market commercial planning, managing budgets for travel and monthly activations, and executing activities that drive sales and promote Bacardi's portfolio of products. You will lead meetings with key accounts, present Bacardi brands, and work towards achieving increased volumes while building long-term business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include basic account management, new distribution efforts, drink features, and program development and execution. You will be expected to deliver year-over-year growth within your account list while meeting monthly KPIs. Additionally, you will represent Bacardi at key local events and participate in promotions and events, which may occur during evenings or weekends. Staying informed of customer and consumer trends will be crucial, as you will need to develop programs that capitalize on these trends and provide timely market updates to your supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and strengthen key relationships within a designated list of on-premise accounts.
  • Track all activities and submit activity reports to supervisor, including KPI progress and account visits.
  • Participate in overall market commercial planning, including team meetings.
  • Efficiently manage T&E Budget and monthly activation budget.
  • Execute activities to drive sales and ongoing promotional activations.
  • Train bar staff on Bacardi's portfolio of products.
  • Lead meetings with key on-premise accounts to develop strong working relationships.
  • Present Bacardi brands and work towards achieving increased volumes.
  • Responsible for sales objectives, including account management and program development.
  • Deliver year-over-year growth within account list while meeting monthly KPIs.
  • Be visible at key local events and participate in promotions and events.
  • Stay informed of customer and consumer trends and develop programs accordingly.
  • Provide market and competitive brand updates to supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct presentations in front of small groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to analyze information for reports and problem-solving.
