About the position

The Bachelor Apprentice Program at Zurich North America is an innovative initiative designed to develop the next generation of workers in the crop insurance industry. This two-year program combines online coursework with practical work experience, allowing participants to earn a tuition-free Bachelor's degree in Business Administration while gaining valuable skills and credentials in a paid, benefit-eligible position.

Responsibilities

• Quality check course content, trainer guides, and other training materials under supervision.
• Test print and perform basic editing for imaging, accuracy, and written standards.
• Update and revise course materials with new information and references.
• Assist in creating participant guides for internal and external customers.
• Maintain flexibility and adjust project plans to meet business goals.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Business or rising Junior with two years of coursework in Communication, Business Admin, Technical Writing or related fields.
• No prior years of experience in the Insurance area, contingent on admittance into University of Arizona Global Campus Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration program.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in the insurance industry.
• Experience in the agriculture industry.
• 2 or more years of work experience and/or leadership role in student activities or community service activities.
• Intermediate computer skills, especially in Excel.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a changing environment.
• Critical thinking skills.
