About the position

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Back End Developer in Candler, North Carolina. The role involves working in the tech industry as a key player in developing and maintaining our technical infrastructure. In this position, you will be actively involved in API development, SQL stored procedures, and learning from senior developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ASP.NET applications to support business requirements
• Work on API development to ensure efficient data exchange between systems
• Modify SQL stored procedures and work on ETL processes to optimize data management
• Coordinate closely with the retiring senior developer for knowledge transfer and learning
• Work on a custom built ERP system to manage business processes efficiently
• Showcase coding skills through a portfolio or GitHub for assessment
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn new technologies and work well with a team
• Adapt quickly to the work environment and start contributing at the earliest.

Requirements

• Proficiency in ASP.NET is required for this role.
• 3+ years of development/programming experience with C# and SQL.
• Substantial experience with JavaScript is necessary.
• Strong understanding of back-end development principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Previous experience in a similar back-end developer role would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of database management and data security is expected.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Prior experience with ERP Systems is strongly desired!
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git would be beneficial.
• Experience with cloud services and APIs would be advantageous.
