The Back End Developer position at Robert Half is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Candler, North Carolina. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ASP.NET applications to support business requirements
- Work on API development to ensure efficient data exchange between systems
- Modify SQL stored procedures and work on ETL processes to optimize data management
- Coordinate closely with the retiring senior developer for knowledge transfer and learning
- Work on a custom built ERP system to manage business processes efficiently
- Showcase coding skills through a portfolio or GitHub for assessment
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn new technologies and work well with a team
- Adapt quickly to the work environment and start contributing at the earliest.
Requirements
- Proficiency in ASP.NET is required for this role.
- 3+ years of development/programming experience with C# and SQL.
- Substantial experience with JavaScript is necessary.
- Strong understanding of back-end development principles and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Previous experience in a similar back-end developer role would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of database management and data security is expected.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Prior experience with ERP Systems is strongly desired!
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
