About the position

As a Back-End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients. In your daily responsibilities, you will rotate through various assigned pharmacy workstations, including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and Machine Packaging. This variety allows you to grow your skillsets further and gain comprehensive experience in the pharmacy setting. You will be responsible for receiving product deliveries, pulling and staging products for distribution, rotating stock, and coordinating activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely. Additionally, you will perform physical inventories of medication to maintain accurate stock levels. Working in a closed-door pharmacy setting means that you will not interact with the public, allowing you to focus on the essential tasks that support our mission of providing the best care to our customers. Responsibilities

• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients.
• Work in various assigned pharmacy workstations including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and Machine Packaging.
• Receive product deliveries and pull and stage products for distribution.
• Rotate stock and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure accurate shipments and timely deliveries.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.

Requirements

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law.
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• PTCB National Certification.
• Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
