About the position

The Back-End Software Engineer will focus on the software engineering of the National Time Sensitive System (NTSS), which is responsible for delivering critical, time-sensitive data globally. The role involves analyzing the existing production application and developing new features and functionalities based on high-priority mission needs. This position requires an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance and is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand the existing production application of the NTSS.
• Develop new features and functionalities for the next-generation NTSS based on mission needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance.
• Experience with Java (8+).
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, and Docker Swarm.
• Experience with MongoDB and MySQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of JMS Messaging, ActiveMQ, and Artemis.
