About the position

The Back Server at Warren Street Hotel is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by efficiently delivering food and beverages while maintaining high standards of hygiene and communication between the restaurant and kitchen. This role requires a passion for food and beverage, attention to detail, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times
• Ensure high level of communication between the restaurant and kitchen
• Have a strong knowledge of the food and beverages offered
• Deliver food and drinks to guests in an efficient and professional manner
• Make coffees and teas according to company standards
• Pay attention to detail to ensure tables are served and bussed properly
• Follow all allergy procedures at all times
• Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Busser or Expeditor in an upscale restaurant
• Excellent level of written and spoken English
• Highly organized
• Open to working AM/PM shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations
• Personal responsibility for punctuality
