Responsibilities

• Responsible for all functions and paperwork related to receiving products.
• Operate machinery including baler, compactor, and forklift safely and properly.
• Maximize sales potential through effective receiving procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the receiving area.
• Report any receiving discrepancies to Managers and Buyers to rectify issues such as damages or shortages.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy.
• Attend all applicable trainings and comply with established procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/transferring product weighing up to 60 lbs for up to 30 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Must use a pallet jack to transfer product weighing up to 1000 lbs for distances up to 150 feet.
• Ability to perform simple math operations and understand proper retail receiving procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with team members and store leadership.
