About the position

Net2Source Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Backend API Developer with expertise in Node.js and TypeScript to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role is integral to our mission of providing innovative staffing solutions and requires a candidate with a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of equivalent work experience, with a proven track record in software engineering, particularly in developing and integrating large-scale enterprise systems. As a Backend API Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust APIs that support our applications and services. You will work closely with product owners to understand their requirements and translate them into functional solutions. Your role will also involve utilizing various technologies, including Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js, while also leveraging tools such as Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes, particularly within the Azure platform. In addition to your technical skills, you will need to demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, conflict resolution techniques, and excellent communication skills. You will be expected to produce high-quality technical documentation and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our clients. Adaptability and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies are essential, as is the ability to empathize with our customers and understand their challenges. Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and the Scaled Agile Framework, is a plus. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Utilize technologies such as Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes in Azure.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure solutions meet client needs.
• Adapt to new tools and technologies as required.
• Participate in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework.

Requirements

• 7+ years of equivalent work experience in software engineering.
• Proven hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js.
• Experience with Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
• Experience in project management, business analysis, or system design is preferred.
• Strong customer relationship skills and problem resolution capabilities.
