Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support robust digital applications.
  • Implement back-end services using ASP.NET Core and .NET Core, creating reliable, efficient, and secure solutions.
  • Integrate Azure services to enhance our cloud-based application ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define back-end requirements, features, and solutions.
  • Utilize DevOps practices to streamline deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
  • Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to design, maintain, and optimize data storage solutions that align with API requirements.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor peers, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve API performance issues and software defects.
  • Continuously improve by staying updated with emerging trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • A Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a software development role, with a focus on API/Backend development is required.
  • Proven expertise in ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and EF Core for developing and maintaining secure, scalable APIs is required.
  • Hands-On experience working in a fully Agile environment, such as SCRUM, and possessing a comprehensive understanding of Agile principles and methodologies is required.
  • Proven experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, and EF Core is required.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs is required.
  • Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based application development is preferred.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git is preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Creative problem solver with ability to think abstractly; strong analytic skills.
