The Backend Developer at Nitro will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and scaling backend systems for an innovative ad tech platform in the gaming industry. Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs, primarily using Go (Golang).
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to define and implement new features.
• Optimize and scale backend systems to handle increasing traffic and ensure high performance and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and learn from peer reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously improving skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) is required.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL).
• Proficiency in handling large datasets.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
