About the position

We are seeking a talented and motivated Node.js Developer to join our remote team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining backend server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies. The developer will collaborate with designers and front-end developers to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop server-side logic using Node.js for high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement data storage solutions.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Tune performance, improve, and scale applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech-CS/IT) or a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) or an equivalent qualification.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Node.js development.
• Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
