About the position

Gridiron IT is seeking a Backend Software Engineer with a Top Secret clearance to work onsite in Chantilly, VA. The role involves developing and integrating software solutions, utilizing various programming languages and technologies, and supporting systems engineering efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and experience with microservices and containerization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software solutions using object-oriented programming languages.
• Work with microservices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support systems engineering efforts in system design and software development.
• Utilize integration and development tools including AWS, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java, JEE, C++, or Python.
• Experience with Spring Boot or Spring Framework.
• Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies.
• Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Linux OS and command line interface.
• Top Secret Clearance.
