We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with extensive experience in Java application development to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and efficient backend systems using modern technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture, as well as hands-on experience with RESTful web services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services that support our applications and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging applications, ensuring the quality of the code through unit testing, and participating in code reviews. Your expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes will be crucial in deploying and managing applications in cloud environments, particularly AWS. You will be expected to contribute to the architecture and design of our backend systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure. As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, and will be expected to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and practices.
