About the position

The Backend Developer role involves designing and implementing new features while maintaining existing ones. The position requires collaboration with frontend and blockchain developers to enhance usability and deliver scalable solutions in a dynamic environment. The developer will be part of a small team, taking on significant ownership of their work and ensuring effective communication and understanding of tasks within the team.

Responsibilities

• Designing new features while managing older ones.
• Working together with Frontend and Blockchain Developers to improve usability.
• Write, test, and deploy scalable code.
• Being up to date with current trends and emerging technologies.
• Ship high-quality scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment where requirements can change quickly.
• Be part of a small team with a large amount of ownership.
• Collaborate with the team lead and team members from other areas like frontend, blockchain, UX/UI and QA.
• Work with the team lead and team members to ensure that tasks are understood.
• Write technical documentation.
• Use good clean code practices.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the project, changing work groups and tasks dynamically.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as Backend Developer.
• Experience of at least 2 years in Blockchain or web3 projects.
• Experience and solid knowledge in Node, TypeScript, websockets, redis, SQL, CI/CD Tools, Git, unit testing, Express.
• Located in LATAM and speak Spanish.
