About the position

As a Backend Developer at Bejoynd, you will collaborate with a team of experienced developers to manage the entire workflow of backend projects, from planning and implementation to testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance. The role emphasizes agile methodologies, with a focus on 2-week sprints and daily standups, providing ample opportunities for learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and maintain complete backend projects.
• Build services using C#, Python, and SQL.
• Write tests using different testing frameworks.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Participate fully in code reviews and collaborate with internal designers, developers, and QA to ensure quality code.

Requirements

• Experience working with programming languages such as C#, Java, Go, Ruby, or Python.
• Understanding of the entire software development process (design, development, testing, and deployment).
• Experience with Restful web services and web app frameworks such as ASP.NET Core or Spring Boot.
• Experience with git or any other distributed version control systems.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Industry knowledge and experience.
• Previous experience with testing frameworks such as Cucumber and SpecFlow.
• Skills in frontend technologies such as Angular or React.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Knowledge about CI/CD tools and workflow (Spinnaker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
