About the position

The Backend Developer role focuses on designing and implementing digital solutions using NodeJS and ReactJS. As a consultant within the Vertical team, you will collaborate with clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, ensuring the delivery of measurable value through robust and scalable API services.

Responsibilities

• Work as a NodeJS API Tech Specialist with 1-2 years of experience, focusing on implementing scalable Restful API services.
• Interact directly with customer Product Owners to gather requirements and create high-level designs, converting them into technical stories in JIRA.
• Implement non-functional requirements (NFRs) including performance, scalability, availability, maintainability, and security.
• Understand and apply CICD processes in development.
• Design microservices and apply architecture design principles and scalability best practices.
• Develop APIs using database technologies such as NoSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
• Utilize Agile methodologies for software delivery and participate in code reviews.
• Create technical design documentation and perform analysis, design, programming, and implementation to solve complex business problems.
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner or delegate as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Overall six plus years of experience in software development.
• 1+ years of relevant experience with NodeJS API and server-side frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cross-platform development and experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with open-source work management tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Strong background in logic and algorithms.
