Join our Agile squad to support a major ongoing project for the Frauds & Disputes team. Your primary focus will be to assist in migrating and integrating Fifth Third's current debit dispute solution into the new FIS solution. Initially, you will work on the debit aspect, followed by other components such as credit and ATM. The solution must comply with regulatory guidelines and Fifth Third's internal SLAs and standards. The Disputes Squad supports internal Disputes agents in creating and processing debit dispute cases. The team comprises 8 members, including product owners and agilists. As a Backend Java Developer, you will collaborate within an Agile squad to develop and integrate solutions. You will be responsible for migrating and integrating Fifth Third's debit dispute solution into the new FIS system, supporting and maintaining the legacy Disputes application as needed, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal SLAs. You will also develop, test, and deploy backend functionalities using Java and related technologies. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and manage your own tasks with minimal guidance, and a collaborative team player attitude. You should be proactive in taking ownership of your work and seeking help when needed.
