About the position

The Backend .NET Developer position at AIS focuses on guiding technology adoption across product teams while maximizing the capabilities and skills within the Chapter. The Software Engineering Team Lead is responsible for the development and growth of team members, optimizing team composition, and ensuring alignment with strategic technology directions. This role emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and hands-on leadership in a supportive and employee-owned environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide technology adoption across product teams.
• Build and maximize capabilities and skills within the Chapter.
• Manage and support both employees and contingent labor.
• Develop and grow team members while building competencies.
• Optimize team composition and assess resource priorities.
• Review metrics associated with talent evolution and manage administrative responsibilities.
• Identify relevant technology trends and tools to improve skillsets and technology product delivery.
• Act as a hands-on practice leader and technical SME.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Backend development with C#, .NET Core, and APIs.
• Experience with GraphQL, Postgres, SQL, and database concepts.
• Familiarity with Docker and clean architecture design patterns.
• Proven experience with XUnit / MS Unit testing frameworks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong business acumen.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
