About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. As part of the TikTok Shop engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of supply chain and logistics algorithm capabilities. This role involves developing online services that handle millions of queries per second (QPS) and creating computing links for video content understanding. Additionally, you will work on projects related to Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) and Large Language Models (LLM). In this position, you will be responsible for the TikTok Shop Logistics algorithm online services and the data processing link infrastructure. You will design high-performance, high-availability, and flexible architecture solutions tailored to complex business scenarios. Your role will involve solving engineering problems throughout the entire research and development (R&D) and production process, ensuring service stability, and continuously improving R&D efficiency. You will also abstract and refine general business architecture based on actual business scenarios to enhance the ability to reuse components and better support rapid business iteration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for TikTok Shop Logistics algorithm online services and data processing link infrastructure work.
• Provide high-performance, high-availability, and flexible architecture design for complex business scenarios based on business needs.
• Solve engineering problems throughout the entire R&D and production process to ensure service stability and improve R&D efficiency.
• Abstract and refine general business architecture according to actual business scenarios to enhance reusability and support rapid business iteration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java, Golang, Python, or C++. Qualified fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Familiarity with mainstream key-value stores (Redis/MongoDB), ElasticSearch, and vector retrieval architecture.
• Experience with common components such as message queues and rule engines, and familiarity with big data computing tools like Hive, HDFS, and HBase.
• Experience in multi-threading, high-performance design, coding, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of commonly used machine learning principles and the workflow of algorithm engineers, with experience in model engineering tuning preferred.
• Excellent problem disassembly and analysis skills, along with cross-team communication and coordination skills preferred.
