Baker and Packager Associate

About the position

The Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure freshness. This role involves juggling several tasks in a fast-paced environment while assisting members with their bakery orders. The bakery team finds the work rewarding as they contribute to a common goal of member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team
• Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs
• Operate baking equipment and follow recipes/make-up instructions
• Wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
• Utilize digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
• Maintain a clean and member-ready area
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure quality and date control standards for bakery items
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers and co-workers

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
