About the position
The Bakery/Packager associates at Sam's Club prepare fresh baked items daily for members by following recipes and ensuring proper wrapping, labeling, and storage of merchandise. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team and communicate effectively with team members.
- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment and following recipes.
- Wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize baking equipment while demonstrating understanding of product and layout execution.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, utilizing handheld technology for immediate business decisions.
- Maintain operational excellence by ensuring quality and date control standards for bakery items and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
- Model high-quality service and products, advocating for the department and club, and exhibiting energy and commitment to the work.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implementing related action plans.
