About the position

The Baker position at Bruegger's Bagels is essential for ensuring the quality and availability of our signature New York-style bagels and Vermont cream cheese. Bakers start their day early, typically around 3 AM, and are responsible for stocking the bagel wall and pastry case while providing excellent guest service. This role emphasizes teamwork, quality food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment, all while supporting a work-life balance with no evening or night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case.
• Provide excellent guest service by assisting with order taking and sandwich making.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
• Work as part of a team to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work varied hours/days, including early hours and weekends.
• Ability to pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Possession of a current, valid, state-issued driver's license (preferred but only required at specific locations).
