Responsibilities

- Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Inform customers of bakery specials and recommend products.
- Prepare bakery items per customer requests and offer samples.
- Monitor and control department expenses and assist in budget preparation.
- Plan and supervise the inventory process.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Practice preventive maintenance on bakery equipment.
Requirements
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic math.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Current food handlers permit (to be obtained once employed).
- High school diploma or GED (desired).
- Management experience (desired).
