About the position
The Bakery Sales Associate at Yoke's Foods, Inc. is responsible for providing an exceptional bakery experience to guests by actively engaging with them and ensuring they receive top-notch hospitality and professional service. This role emphasizes creating a welcoming atmosphere, promoting sales, and representing the company positively in the community. Associates are expected to uphold the company's core values and contribute to its growth through enthusiastic participation and genuine care for shared success.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and informing them of specials and product information.
- Promote sales through active discussions with guests, offering product recommendations and samples.
- Mentor new associates and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and correctly, including ovens, slicers, and fryers.
- Complete special order requests from guests accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery department.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of bakery products and services.
- Physical ability to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a bakery or food service environment.
