The Associate Store Director at Balenciaga will play a pivotal role in leading the store's operations and driving sales performance. Reporting directly to the Store Director, this position is responsible for overseeing the Department Managers and the store sales team to ensure that all sales and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded. The Associate Store Director will promote brand engagement among clients, ensuring that both quantitative and qualitative goals are achieved to maximize the store's potential. This role acts as a representative of the Store Director, fulfilling tasks assigned by both the headquarters and the Store Director, thereby ensuring alignment with the brand's strategic objectives. In this capacity, the Associate Store Director will assist in various operational functions, including floor coverage, visual merchandising, and client service. They will analyze sales results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, providing constant assessments to the Store Director and sharing relevant information with the store team. Understanding the local business environment and competition is crucial, as is providing high-quality feedback and reports to the Store Director. The Associate Store Director will also support the Store Director in implementing action plans and ensuring that the store team is updated on KPIs, providing necessary support to help them achieve these targets. As a talent leader, the Associate Store Director will create and maintain a positive work environment, embodying the brand's values and ensuring that the store team is aligned with these principles. They will motivate and challenge the team daily, assist in setting up team activities, and manage employee issues in collaboration with the Store Director and Department Managers. Attracting, developing, and retaining talent will be a key focus, as will supporting the sales team’s development through clear goal-setting and consistent feedback. In addition to operational and team management responsibilities, the Associate Store Director will act as a brand promoter, ensuring that the store atmosphere upholds Balenciaga's image and that client experiences are consistent with the brand's standards. They will oversee client engagement strategies, manage client complaints, and build a network to enhance client loyalty, particularly among high-value clients. Finally, the Associate Store Director will ensure compliance with all processes related to legal, safety, security, and sustainability, while maintaining a cost-conscious approach to store operations. This includes managing payroll, attendance, and inventory activities, as well as challenging and improving current processes to sustain growth and efficiency.
