About the position

The Store Director at Balenciaga is a key leadership role responsible for driving business performance and promoting brand loyalty among clients. This position involves managing the store team, achieving sales and KPI goals, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards. The Store Director will act as a brand ambassador, fostering a positive work environment and developing talent within the team while maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Define, execute and monitor the store action plan to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Implement action plans and follow-up on results: daily, weekly, monthly assessments.
  • Focus on key KPIs and create a strong store culture and storytelling approach.
  • Understand and monitor local business environment including market trends and competition.
  • Oversee and ensure weekly payroll is accurately reported for store team.
  • Complete Monthly Store Schedule for the team to reflect business needs.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment consistent with Balenciaga behaviors.
  • Identify, attract, recruit, develop and retain talent within the store team.
  • Ensure professional growth and training of the store team with a coaching approach.
  • Behave as a Balenciaga Ambassador and promote the brand culture internally and externally.
  • Ensure that the store image is in line with corporate standards and that team behaviors reflect Balenciaga values.
  • Supervise warehouse stock and ensure it aligns with the store's sales potential.
  • Maintain a cost-conscious approach when suggesting initiatives and reviewing expenses.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of successful experience in a managerial position in the luxury retail industry, managing a minimum of 20 people.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to client experience and loyalty.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to changing environments.
  • High availability and responsiveness to business needs.
  • Mastery of digital skills relevant to retail operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in luxury fashion retail management.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competition in the fashion industry.
  • Ability to engage VIP clients and celebrities.
