As a dedicated Bank Agile Product Owner Senior for Disputes at USAA, you will play a crucial role in working directly with the Bank agile team to prioritize work that drives business outcomes while ensuring that the voice of the customer is strongly represented. You will be accountable for making decisions and prioritizing the Bank agile team backlog to align with the business strategy. This position requires a data-driven approach to decision-making, including strategic priorities and funding allocation. You will set the product and value stream direction, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders across the organization. Additionally, you will establish a Bank agile team culture rooted in transparency and learning, seeking opportunities for testing, learning, continuous improvement, and quality. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating and driving the vision and strategy to key collaborators and Bank agile team members. You will ensure the delivery of quality product and member experience solutions by collaborating with customers to determine their business needs. Working closely with the Team-of-Teams Lead, you will assist in clarifying and driving alignment on the business strategy, goals, and objectives, translating this understanding into a clear vision for the Bank agile team. You will also partner with the Team-of-Teams Lead to define and communicate acceptance criteria based on business requirements and customer needs. Your responsibilities will include proactively seeking customer feedback to better understand their needs and ensuring that end-user value is delivered to the marketplace. You will own the Bank agile team backlog, maintaining a groomed backlog of user stories and working with the Agile Bank agile team to estimate story size and complexity. You will optimize the flow of value through the multi-Bank agile team Agile environment, progressing towards objectives while removing impediments, resolving conflicts, and managing risks and issues. As you take a strategic view, you will think proactively about the best ways to meet objectives and act in service of the Bank agile team's needs and goals. You will also look for opportunities for continuous improvement and make recommendations to leadership.
