About the position

The Bank Branch Manager at Westamerica Bank in Firebaugh, CA is responsible for overseeing branch operations, ensuring high-quality customer service, and promoting the sales of bank services. This role involves managing staff, resolving customer issues, and meeting sales and operational goals under the direction of the Regional Service Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service and supervise operational staff.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and resolve complex customer problems.
  • Support sales efforts through coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Maintain control and tracking of operational losses and teller cash differences.
  • Screen and interview applicants for operational positions.
  • Manage overall operations of the branch through effective delegation and follow-up.
  • Ensure training and cross-training of staff and identify training needs.
  • Complete necessary reports and communicate issues to the Regional Service Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and complete required tutorials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a banking environment.
  • At least 2 years of prior banking employment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Management/operations experience of at least 2 years.
  • Sales experience of at least 3 years.

Nice-to-haves
