About the position

The Central Operations Specialist position at Workway involves a variety of back-office banking operations that are essential for the smooth functioning of the bank's services. This role is pivotal in ensuring that operational and payment functions are executed efficiently, providing support to both the bank's offices and its customers. The specialist will be responsible for wire processing and exception processing, which are critical tasks in the banking sector. The position requires a basic understanding of the products and services offered to both business and consumer customers, as well as the ability to perform routine tasks independently. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in back-office banking operations, with specific experience in WireXchange and Client Premier systems being highly desirable. In this role, the Central Operations Specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure that all banking operations are conducted in compliance with established policies and procedures. The specialist will also assist in troubleshooting any operational issues that may arise, ensuring that customer transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This position is full-time, with a standard schedule of 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, and no weekend work is required. The compensation for this role ranges from $42,725.12 to $60,000.00 per year, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform back-office banking operations including wire processing and exception processing.

Requirements
