About the position

PremierBank is seeking a reliable team player to provide excellent customer and staff support for all deposit services via phone and electronic channels. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of multitasking while maintaining accuracy. This position requires an analytical problem solver with strong decision-making abilities and a proactive mindset. The rotation of job functions means that the employee will need to be adaptable and willing to learn new processes as needed. Effective communication skills are essential, as the role involves answering inquiries from both customers and staff regarding deposit products and services. The successful candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining electronic services, processing cash letters, and handling domestic and international wire transfers. Additionally, the role includes balancing general ledgers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. The work schedule consists of 40 hours per week with a rotating schedule between 7 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Employees will have the same schedule for a week at a time, which may vary based on project needs. Responsibilities

  • Complete daily updates, printing, report writing, and retention utilizing IBM mainframe technology
  • Troubleshoot and maintain electronic services (mobile, ACH, e-statements, etc.)
  • Perform branch capture imaging, foreign check special handling and document storage
  • Process cash letters paper and electronic (ACH) including adjustments and returns
  • Answer customer and staff inquiries regarding deposit products and services
  • Accurately complete incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers
  • Resolve exceptions, stop payments, disputes, and fulfill research requests
  • Finalize end of day, calculate cash position and input required closing programs
  • Balance applicable general ledgers, ATM Clearing, Internal Accounts and Correspondent Banks
  • Work within current regulatory requirements and internal controls

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate degree in computers or related field preferred
  • Strong decision-making abilities and technical aptitude
