About the position

The Commerce Bank of Washington, a division of Zions Bancorporation N.A., is currently seeking an experienced Bank Operations Specialist (Teller) to join our team in Seattle, WA. This position is crucial for providing an unparalleled level of service to our banking clients. As a Bank Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for processing routine transactions, which include accepting deposits, cashing checks, and processing loan and credit card payments. This role requires a strong understanding of banking operations and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. In addition to processing transactions, you will also be tasked with preparing Accounts Payable checks, reviewing check exceptions, and cashier's checks, along with other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in banking and bank operations, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. You will need to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines. This is an in-office position, and you will be expected to engage with clients and colleagues effectively. To succeed in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, basic business writing abilities, and a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook. A high school diploma is required, while a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Responsibilities

Requirements
