About the position

The Bank Teller position at First Bank is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing a variety of banking transactions. The teller will handle both routine and complex transactions, respond to customer inquiries, and maintain a thorough knowledge of the bank's products and services. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the branch.

Responsibilities

• Perform over-the-counter and drive-through transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, and payments.
• Process night depository and mail deposits via teller terminal with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Handle service transactions including collections, wire transfers, cash advances, and stop payments.
• Accurately balance and securely maintain all cash in custody.
• Respond to and follow through on customer inquiries or requests in-person and via telephone.
• Maintain knowledge of the Bank's products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Provide professional and exceptional customer service.
• Follow company rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
• May act as vault teller and fill out CTRs for customer deposits.
• Assist in daily operations of the branch, including settlement of cash advances.

Requirements

• Experience in relationship management is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of banking products and services is beneficial.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
