About the position

Heritage Bank is seeking a Customer Service Associate (Bank Teller) to join the Stanwood Branch. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional customer service while handling routine financial transactions and supporting branch sales efforts. The role requires flexibility to ensure adequate staffing and involves working a typical schedule of 40 hours per week, with specific hours outlined for Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Handle routine financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support branch sales efforts by identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal banking laws and regulations.
• Maintain a working knowledge of bank products and services.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• For Level I: 6 months of customer service experience.
• For Level II: 1 year of recent cash handling and customer service experience in the financial services industry.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Strong math skills with an understanding of debit and credit relationships.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

Nice-to-haves
