Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers regarding daily deposit and withdrawal transactions.
• Process receipts and payments of cash.
• Accept payments and services related to commercial, personal, real estate, and business loans.
• Provide balance and account information to customers.
• Prepare wire transfer forms, cashiers checks, and counter checks for customers.
• Open, close, or update information on various types of checking and savings accounts.
• Assist customers with access to and payment of their safety deposit boxes.
• Answer customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff as necessary.
• Fill out necessary forms and reports as required by bank procedure and law.
• Follow all bank and other procedures as required by law.
• Follow branch opening and closing procedures.
• Perform ATM functions including daily balance checks, filling of money for withdrawal, and checking for deposits at the machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in banking or customer service preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
