About the position
The Banking Analyst (Coverage/M&A) Discovery Program is a two-day immersive event designed for sophomores to experience Barclays and be assessed for Summer 2026 Internship opportunities. The program aims to attract high-achieving individuals from diverse backgrounds, providing insights into the investment banking sector and the recruitment process at Barclays.
Responsibilities
- Participate in seminars and workshops to learn about financial services and Barclays as an employer.
- Engage in breakout sessions specific to the business area to gain insights for the Summer Internship.
- Understand the assessment process and next steps for internship opportunities.
- Network with current graduates and senior leaders in the business.
- Explore various Barclays Diversity & Inclusion networks.
- Participate in interviews for the Summer Internship on the second day of the program.
Requirements
- GPA of 3.2 or above.
- Sophomore status, graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Open to students from any degree discipline.
- Curiosity about how a global bank adapts in a constantly evolving environment.
