About the position

The Banking Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational efforts of the banking center, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and providing a full range of services to customers. This role involves training and supervising staff, managing banking center transactions, and ensuring profitability in line with bank standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and administer the operational efforts of the banking center.
• Supervise work scheduling and workflow of daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures and banking policies.
• Oversee customer service functions and assist with new accounts and teller line as needed.
• Cross-sell bank services and implement changes to policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper cash controls and ensure daily transactions are balanced.
• Supervise and assist banking center staff, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct regular meetings with employees to inform and train them.
• Track individual progress and conduct performance appraisals.
• Establish and maintain effective business relations with customers.

Requirements

• Associate degree in business or a related field, or equivalent training and work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of bank services and products.
• Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to banking.
• Minimum three years of experience in a financial institution, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills.
