About the position

The Banking Center Manager II at First Horizon Bank is a leadership role focused on managing a banking center, driving business development, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The manager will engage with the community, oversee banking operations, and lead a team to achieve financial goals while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development efforts in the market area through proactive sales calls and networking.
  • Engage with local civic organizations and community groups to enhance the bank's presence.
  • Train and motivate personnel to meet customer service standards and profit goals.
  • Collaborate with retail administration to develop and implement branch activities.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Monitor production standards for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Control operational and administrative expenses.
  • Resolve customer service issues professionally.
  • Represent the company at civic and community events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of retail banking experience.
  • 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to pass a background credit check and comply with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act.
