About the position

The Banking Center Manager II is responsible for the overall success of the assigned banking center, ensuring profitability through effective sales and promotion of bank products. This role involves providing management support to other banking centers, creating a positive environment for clients and associates, and leading the banking center team in all operational aspects. The manager is expected to deliver exceptional client experiences, adhere to banking procedures, and maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a Fast, Easy, and Personal client experience consistent with company's standards.
  • Measure and manage sales based on daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeted goals.
  • Market bank products to target clients and promote goodwill in the community.
  • Provide community education outreach to fulfill CRA commitments.
  • Educate clients and associates on digital banking platforms.
  • Coach and mentor staff through regular meetings and role play.
  • Implement banking center procedures and conduct regular audits.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and positive bank image.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and associate information.
  • Supervise banking center staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Perform banking center transactions during busy times or understaffed situations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-year banking center experience; experience with DFC banks preferred.
  • 1-year management/supervisory experience required.
  • Sales or networking experience required.
  • Proven track record of business development skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math and counting skills.
  • High emotional intelligence with proven ability to motivate and coach others.
  • Proficiency with common computer programs (i.e. Windows, MS Office, email, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of retail banking loan and deposit products.
  • Ability to travel outside of the banking center within the local area, up to 20%.

Nice-to-haves
