About the position

The Banking Operations Business Analyst at Truist is responsible for analyzing and evaluating internal systems, procedures, and processes within a specific business unit. The role involves preparing reports to assist managers in making strategic and operational decisions, supporting project-oriented work, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate internal systems, procedures, or processes of a particular business unit.
• Prepare reports for managers to utilize in making strategic and operational business decisions.
• Support project-oriented work efforts of problem identification and resolution, performance, productivity improvement, and quality enhancements.
• Assist in single-system or program implementation, developing and testing training as a result of project-related activities or policy changes.
• Gather data, create and maintain databases to compile and prepare reports, graphs, and charts for quality control standards.
• Participate in the review and updates of procedures to meet business unit changes and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Operational knowledge of assigned line of business.
• Proficient in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and think independently.
