About the position
The Banking Ops Specialist II is responsible for advanced processing of various back-office functions related to new accounts and account maintenance, while providing enhanced customer support. This role operates under moderate to low supervision and supports other banking professionals to ensure timely completion of critical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Process account and customer level maintenance requests, such as name and account title changes, beneficiary, address and statement updates.
- Assist in new account processing for ICS, CDARs, compromised, and employee accounts with minimal supervision.
- Assist with customer support tasks, including check orders, verifications and alerts, debit card and visa check card requests, and limit increases.
- Conduct detailed account research and resolve customer inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and banking policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.
- Assist with inbound and outbound calls and emails.
- Ensure work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with banking policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma preferred.
- No experience required.
Nice-to-haves
- At least 1 year of retail banking experience in a customer support role.
- Experience processing new accounts.
- Proven ability to conduct detailed account research and resolve customer inquiries.
