About the position

The Client Support position at FIS is designed for individuals with a strong banking background who can leverage their expertise to assist clients effectively. The role focuses on resolving customer inquiries and support issues related to financial transactions, operational controls, and compliance, while also providing in-depth product support. Team members are expected to work collaboratively to enhance client satisfaction and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving support issues such as financial transactions, operational controls, and operational compliance.
  • Providing expert, in-depth product support to the customer.
  • Recreating client issues in FIS test environments to provide the best solution to the reported problem.
  • Anticipating next steps in what the client is trying to accomplish by asking probing questions.
  • Troubleshooting problems with software applications and recommending corrective action.
  • Documenting customer information and recurring issues to support product quality programs and product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness in researching and testing.
  • Client-focused with strong relationship-building skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with the HORIZON core banking system (preferred but not required).
