About the position

The Banking Retail Manager (CXM) at Capital City Bank is responsible for fostering a leadership culture that prioritizes exceptional client experiences. This role involves managing a single office, which may include a drive-through facility, and developing associates to meet client needs while achieving operational and sales objectives. The CXM will lead by example in sales and service, set strategic directions, coach team members, and ensure compliance with banking standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create a leadership culture focused on exceptional client experiences.
  • Develop associates to meet client needs and achieve operational and sales objectives.
  • Demonstrate sales and service skills while setting strategic direction for the office.
  • Communicate performance results and coach team members effectively.
  • Manage the Lead Teller, Personal Banker(s), Universal Associate(s), and Traveling Support Associate(s).
  • Ensure efficient operation of the teller area, including cash management and vault activities.
  • Foster strong relationships between clients and the bank brand.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and manage approved positions with HR support.
  • Ensure adherence to training checklists and performance management tools.
  • Promote and coordinate sales activities to exceed office production goals.
  • Manage office security and associate/client safety procedures.
  • Participate in community organizations and events for business development.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of related experience in banking or finance.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with CRM software and banking operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Jack Henry Xperience software.
  • Understanding of Capital City Bank products and services.
