About the position

The Bankruptcy Paralegal at T.L. Brown Law Firm is responsible for supporting attorneys in managing bankruptcy cases. This role involves analyzing case issues, preparing and filing applications, and providing excellent customer service to clients. The paralegal will also handle administrative tasks and ensure that clients are kept informed about their case status.

Responsibilities

• Analyze case issues
• Prepare & file applications
• Calendaring & filing applications
• Provide customer service
• Obtain required documentation
• Stay up to date on client case status
• Communicate with clients
• Keep clients informed of their case(s)
• Communicate with attorneys
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, collating, faxing, and organizing client database

Requirements

• Must be bilingual in Spanish/English
• Proficient in English & Spanish written and verbal communication
• Must have 3 years of bankruptcy experience
• Familiar with bankruptcy forms
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
