About the position

As our Banquet Captain - Event Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of events at the Davis Conference Center, affiliated with Marriott Hotels. Your day will begin with the daily Banquet Event Order (BEO) meeting, where you will strategize with the director of conference services regarding the upcoming events. This includes receiving room assignments, managing any last-minute changes, and ensuring that all functions are displayed accurately. Your leadership will be crucial as you communicate with the chef to ensure flawless room setups and lead your service team to guarantee that every event runs seamlessly and on schedule. Throughout the day, you will be actively involved in overseeing the event operations, ensuring that all details are attended to and that guests have a memorable experience. After the events, you will oversee the cleanup process, prepare detailed reports, and ensure that our guests leave with smiles. Responsibilities
