As our Banquet Captain - Event Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of events at the Davis Conference Center, affiliated with Marriott Hotels. Your day will begin with the daily Banquet Event Order (BEO) meeting, where you will strategize with the director of conference services regarding the upcoming events. This includes receiving room assignments, managing any last-minute changes, and ensuring that all functions are displayed accurately. Throughout the day, you will maintain constant communication with our chef to ensure flawless room setups and lead your service team to guarantee that every event runs seamlessly and on schedule. After the events, you will oversee the cleanup process, prepare detailed reports, and ensure that our guests leave with smiles on their faces. In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of our hospitality efforts, ensuring that every detail is attended to and that our guests have an unforgettable experience. Your leadership and organizational skills will be essential as you manage the service team and coordinate with various departments to deliver exceptional service.
