This role involves handling customer inquiries and serving as the primary point of contact for all event details. You will oversee the coordination of all event information and resources, ensuring that every aspect of the event is meticulously planned and executed. In this position, you will engage in account management, business development, market research, and sales prospecting. You will also be involved in public relations, customer relationship management, event planning and coordination, logistics oversight, revenue management, and effective communication. Your responsibilities will include preparing proposals for clients and maintaining well-organized event records. Building and maintaining working relationships with both internal and external partners is crucial, as you will leverage these relationships to deliver innovative and memorable events. Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills are essential for success in this role. You will be polished and articulate, using your skills to create and manage client relationships effectively. Staying well-versed in hospitality trends and pursuing new market opportunities to increase event sales will be part of your daily activities. Regular meetings with clients and conducting tours of the event facility will be expected. You will provide accurate and timely information to clients, vendors, and meeting planners, continuously focusing on improving customer satisfaction to foster loyalty and deliver a positive event experience. As a Banquet/Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all elements of planning events, including identifying logistics and addressing all details. You will coordinate event logistics, communicate event information, and set clear expectations for event delivery. The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple activities simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail is crucial, especially when plans change. You will prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders, including contracts, floor plans, and client invoices, showcasing your excellent communication and organizational skills.
