About the position

The Banquet Cook will prepare food as directed by the Executive Chef and Banquet Sous Chef, ensuring guests receive an excellent experience through timely and consistent food preparation, portioning, and garnishing. This role requires availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with the Banquet Sous Chef or Executive Chef to go over daily production.
  • Participate in shift line-ups to accomplish common goals.
  • Comply with the standards of the kitchen to include consistency in quality and portion control.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of F&B back-of-house areas and outside storage.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year of ala carte, line cooking experience in a high-volume environment, is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or GED, is preferred.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Customer service oriented, ensures every guest has an outstanding experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
