About the position

The Banquet Food Server is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at banquet functions, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. This part-time role involves setting up and breaking down banquet rooms according to specifications, as well as interacting with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests.
• Set up banquet functions by arranging tables with linens, dishes, flatware, and glassware according to banquet orders.
• Break down banquet functions by clearing tables and transporting used items to appropriate cleaning areas.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Prepare and set up condiments for service.
• Remove soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware and transport them to the dishwashing area.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Ability to push and/or pull carts weighing approximately 100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
