About the position

The Banquet Lead - AV Specialist is responsible for overseeing the execution of events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading the banquet team. This role involves coordinating audio-visual setups, food and beverage service, and maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the Banquet team with enthusiasm and clear direction.
• Partnering with the Banquet Manager to ensure event details exceed guest expectations.
• Providing outstanding service to all guests and ensuring their needs are met.
• Communicating effectively with guests about menu options and special requests.
• Anticipating guest needs and monitoring satisfaction during events.
• Overseeing setup, execution, and cleanup of events to ensure smooth operations.
• Assisting with food and beverage delivery as needed.
• Training team members on serving plated and reception-style meals.
• Performing side work to prepare for upcoming events.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in service areas.
• Responding promptly to guest and team member requests.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in banquet or event management.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
